Yesterday was $2 Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point, so I decided to take the kids to the dinosaur museum. It was a madhouse, but worth it for $2. We have never been there before and Bryson loves dinosuars so he loved the museum. Carley got scared at the very beginning because of the dark scary night place. Then she thought the dinosaurs were going to get her. So for the first half she cried. She finally started to have fun and enjoy the museum

Bridal Veil Falls
For Family Home Evening on Monday we went to Bridal Veil Falls. It is funny that both Eric and I have lived in Utah for about 10 years and we grew up visiting Provo and Salt Lake during the summer, but neither of us have ever been to the falls. We drive past them at least 2 times a week. We tried jumping on rocks to avoid getting our feet wet, but as I was trying to help Carley across I lost my footing and got my feet wet. From then on I stayed in the water the help the kids not fall. Bryson then decided that he would get his feet wet.
This is one of my favorite pictures. I was messing around with the shutter speed and took a picture at the same time Carley about fell in the water. Luckily she caught herself and didn't fall in, but I loved the picture anyways.
Bryson loved climbing the rocks!
Maddy always gets a ride with Dad. Her two bottom teeth are coming in so she is chewing on everything
I can never get her to smile when I take a picture. I think she is too interested in the camera itself

Baby food
For the past couple of weeks, every time we eat Maddy acts like she wants to eat with us. So Sunday night we decided to start her on some rice cereal.
What a messy face
Not quite sure of the taste and texture
A lot of it came out
Funny face
I think there is a smile under that food!!

Camping
Last weekend we went camping. It was raining a lot of the time, but we had a nice day Friday when we could go four-wheeling and enjoy the outdoors. The kids love to go camping and this was maddy's first time.
Bryson and Carley love helping collect and break wood for the fire
Carley and Mom went on a four-wheeler ride and collected wild flowers
This is a picture of Maddy playing on the air mattress inside the tent. The picture is taken through the mesh of the tents window. She enjoyed being outside.
While it rained the kids watched movies on Eric's laptop
Dutch Oven dinner, my favorite

Ward Rodeo
Last night we had our ward rodeo. They had a mechanical bull and everybody had fun getting on it. (Notice you don't see any pictures of me, I wouldn't get on.) We had a blast
Bryson in the sawdust pit. They hid candy and the kids dug and found it.
Bryson didn't want to get on the bull at first, but finally got on. They went really slow at first and then went a little faster. he loved it in the end.

Rodeo
This past weekend was Fair Days in Wasatch County. I look forward to the rodeo each year, I have been most years since I was little, even when I lived out of state. Eric didn't want to take Madalyn so he stayed home and I took Carley and Bryson. We had a good time.
