Bryson's update

Bryson has been busy with school. One week they had a pirate week (before all the pirates in the news) and he got to dress up as a pirate.



He loves holding his sister and giving her loves. When he was making easter eggs he made and egg for Madalyn

carley's update

Carley and cousin Makena after they had a sleep over the night before. Carley loves playing with her cousins and having another girl to play with





Carley outside at my parents house. She doesn't last very long for me to take pictures, but I got a couple good ones.


The week before we left Carley helping Grandma provo whip the whipping cream for eric's birthday cake.

yard work

One of the main reasons for going out to Colorado was to give my mom her mother's day present. She has been wanting garden boxes for the last couple years and her and my dad never get around to doing it. So I thought it would be a good idea if Eric and my brother worked together and make them. They did the boxes on Saturday and then the dirt was delivered early Monday morning and Eric helped my brother move the dirt before we left.

Playgroup in Colorado

While in Colorado we were able to go to playgroup with my sister-in-law and her kids. They were having an easter egg hunt and the kids loved it.

Grandma and Grandpa

A trip to Grandma and Grandpa's wouldn't be complete without pictures. This was the first time my dad had seen Madalyn. My mom was a great help at 3:00 in the morning when Madalyn wouldn't go back to sleep.

Road Trip

Bryson had spring break last week and I decided that I didn't want to spend the whole week at home, but Eric had to work so I decided to go out to Colorado and visit my parents. the only problem, was that I would be crazy if I drove out by myself. So I decided to have my parents meet Eric, I, and the kids half way. At the half way point Eric would take my parents car and go back to midway. And my parents would come in the car with me and we would continue on to thier house. then later in the week Eric would drive my parents car out and stay for the weekend and easter and we would drive back together. It is a little complicated, but it actually worked. It meant Eric did a lot of driving, but I was very grateful that he did because it was nice to be at my parents (but he also got some good nights sleep without the baby waking him up).
I am also very grateful to Eric because he bought and installed a dvd player and screen into the car, what a lifesaver!!!
On the way back the kids watched 4 movies!!! Madalyn was a good traveler and slept most of the time.
